1
Your first session is a calm place to land and speak through what’s been unfolding for you. You do not need to prepare anything. We shape future direction together.

2
Yes! Though in-clinic appointments are Australia based, we support clients globally via telehealth.
how do i book a session?
3
Bookings are made online. For existing clients, please use our online portal or contact us via relevant means per practitioner. For new clients or to be added to our waitlist for earlier times, and for international clients - please use our contact form.
do i need a referral?
4
No — you can begin without a referral. A Mental Health Care Plan from your GP simply offers the option of Medicare rebates for Australian residents.

Individual, couples and relationship, adolescent, and specialist work like perinatal, health, forensic and sport psychology, plus somatic and mindfulness-based sessions. Our Services page gives examples rather than the full list, so if you're after something you don't see there, just reach out.
Who do you work with?
Adults and teenagers, individuals and couples, across a wide range of concerns and goals. We offer affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients and support for expats. See our Services page. -

For most people and concerns, yes telehealth is as effective, research supports telehealth as comparable to in-person care, and in some instances greater due to the comfort of the individual and accessibility components. It isn't right for every situation, and we'll say so if in-person or local care would serve you better.
-
Yes. In-clinic sessions are in South Australia, and we support clients overseas by telehealth, with their own terms and fees. See our [International page] for how it works.
-
Fees vary by practitioner and session type, and all sit below the APS recommended rate of $318. Current fees are on our Fees page and confirmed when you book. If it's unavailable or anything's unclear, just email us.
-
You don't need a referral to see us. With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Medicare rebates part of the fee for eligible Australian clients. We also work with self- and plan-managed NDIS participants at the NDIS rate. ADF and WorkCover depend on the practitioner and arrangement. For the full picture on MHCPs and claiming, see our [see answer below], and for NDIS, ADF or WorkCover, contact us before booking and we'll confirm what's possible.
Can I claim insurance for sessions outside of Australia?
Australian Medicare, NDIS and private health rebates don't apply overseas. Some international insurers may cover sessions with an Australian-registered psychologist, so please check with your provider first. -
We ask for at least 48 business hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Inside that window, a partial or full fee applies depending on timing, and you can always switch to telehealth instead. The full breakdown is in our Client Agreement.
-
Yes. What you share is private, with a few exceptions the law and our ethics require us to act on, such as a serious risk of harm. These are set out in full in our Client Agreement.
-
How many sessions will I need?
There's no set number. Some people come briefly for something specific, others stay longer for deeper work. We check in regularly so the pace and direction stay right for you.How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are 50 minutes, with extended sessions available for couples. Your psychologist also sets aside further time around each session for your care. -
By card, processed securely, with an invoice sent after each session. Where your card is stored, it's charged automatically. Details are in our Client Agreement.
-
We are not a crisis service and can't guarantee a reply between sessions. If you're in immediate danger or having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14. Overseas clients should use their local emergency services.

As registered psychologists, we're bound by AHPRA's advertising rules, which don't permit testimonials. We'd rather earn your trust through how we work.
-
Working alongside your other health professionals, like your GP, specialists or allied health, so your care is joined up. With your consent, we coordinate to support your overall wellbeing.
-
Not always. Some see clients privately or by referral only. If you're looking for a particular practitioner or type of support, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), eligible Australians can claim a Medicare rebate on part of each session fee, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. (More if on a different plan)
What you need
Two things from your GP: a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral letter. The plan on its own isn't enough, so please make sure you leave with both and bring them to your first session or email to us beforehand. Since November 2025, these need to come from your usual GP or your MyMedicare-registered practice (a psychiatrist or paediatrician referral also works).
How the sessions work
A referral usually covers 6 sessions to begin. After your 6th, we write a review letter to your GP, free of charge, which you take to a GP appointment. Your GP can then approve a further 4, up to 10 for the year.
What you'll get back
Medicare pays a set rebate, currently around $101.55 per session for a general psychologist (reviewed yearly, please check direct with Centrelink), and you pay the gap. Our fees sit below the APS recommended rate.
How to claim
Pay your full fee on the day, then claim your rebate from Medicare yourself through myGov or the Express Plus Medicare app, using the receipt we send. Medicare usually pays it into your account within a day or two.
Good to know
Track your own sessions. We can't see your Medicare history, so keeping count of your 6 and then 4 (10) is up to you. Please let us know when you are due for review.
One rebate per session. You can't claim Medicare and private health for the same session, though you can alternate across different sessions.
No expiry. Plans and referrals don't expire, and unused sessions roll into the new year (but still count toward that year's 10).
After 10 sessions, you're welcome to continue privately, using private health extras if you have them.
A general guide only; Medicare rules change, and eligibility is your GP's decision. In a crisis, call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
You cannot claim Medicare when your Psychologist is undertaking report work, they will let you know if this circumstance applies.
