Registered Psychologist australia
My approach has been influenced by work across health psychology, research and private practice, as well as a longstanding curiosity about the many factors that shape human wellbeing. I have graduated with a biopsychosociocultural lens to understand and conceptualise the ways in which the physical, psychological, social, spiritual and hisotrical factors of an individual all intertwine meaningfully over the course of one’s life. This allows for a broad and holistic formulation, both centered on assisting someone with overcoming any experienced negative ‘symptoms’ of ill health or impacts on mental wellbeing, as well as, importantly, to act protectively towards the optimisations of one’s wellbeing.|
Integrity, creativity, and empathy shape the way we work. These aren't just words—they’re the foundation of everything we build. We believe in doing great work, building real relationships, and making it easy for you to get the results you’re looking for.

I have experience in general community mental health settings, private practice, a women’s health multi-disciplinary practice (SA), forensic and sport settings (SYD). I also have experience working abroad in the EU in this field.
-
While every therapeutic approach I use is grounded in scientific evidence, I believe effective psychology extends beyond the application of techniques alone. It is built through careful listening, collaborative understanding and creating a space where people feel safe enough to explore, question and grow. You can view our serviecs and FAQs pages for more information on approaches.

INTERNATIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Conscious Shift Psychology — Telehealth for international clients
This covers your engagement with us for psychological therapy delivered by telehealth from Australia, and it doubles as your informed consent to treatment. Because you're booking from outside Australia, a few things work differently, and we've set those out clearly below. We'll always take time in your first session to talk through anything that's unclear, and you can ask questions any time.
Our Website & Communications Terms cover use of our website and any digital products, and our Privacy Policy explains in full how we look after your information. The Privacy Policy applies to all our clients, wherever you are.
1. About this agreement
This applies to anyone outside Australia who engages our psychologists for telehealth therapy. By booking, and by signing your acknowledgement in our practice system (Zanda), you're confirming you've read and agreed to it. We update these Terms from time to time; the version you acknowledge on the day you book is the one that applies (date at the end).
2. Who we are, and what our registration means
Conscious Shift is a private psychology practice based in South Australia, offering telehealth internationally where local rules allow. Our psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australia's national regulator for health practitioners, and work to the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics. AHPRA registration means we've met Australia's national standards for training, supervised practice, ethics and ongoing professional development, and that our practice is accountable to an independent regulator.
Our qualifications are Australian and are widely recognised internationally. Importantly, though, being registered in Australia is not the same as being licensed or registered to practise as a psychologist in your country. We provide our service from Australia, under Australian professional standards, in English.
3. Important notes for international clients
Please read these before you book:
Insurance. Australian Medicare, NDIS and private health rebates do not apply to clients overseas. If you hope to claim through insurance in your own country, please check with your provider first to confirm they'll accept sessions with an Australian-registered psychologist, as many won't.
Fees are separate. Our international fees are not the same as the fees shown for Australian clients on our website. Please contact us for current international fees, or see our international fees page when it's available.
Is telehealth allowed where you are? Rules about receiving psychological services from an overseas practitioner differ by country and can change. It's your responsibility to confirm you're permitted to receive these services in your location, and we may decline or refer you elsewhere if a country's rules don't allow it.
Country-specific matters. Occasionally issues specific to a particular country may arise. Where we're actively working with clients from a given country, we'll let you know of anything relevant that affects your care.
Time zones. All appointment times we quote are in Adelaide time (ACST/ACDT). Please convert to your local time when booking, and double-check around daylight-saving changeovers.
4. Safety, and our limits
We are not a crisis or emergency service. We can't guarantee a reply between sessions, and we cannot contact emergency services in your country or reach a support person on your behalf.
Because of this, before we begin we'll ask you to identify your own local emergency number and a support person, and we still ask for an emergency contact detail. Please understand that, being overseas, we may not be able to act on it or reach anyone for you.
If you're in immediate danger, or experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or go to your nearest hospital.
We're happy to provide a brief letter to your GP or local doctor about your mental health, free of charge, to support your care closer to home. While we'll always work thoughtfully and within our ethics, you accept that, given the distance and cross-border limits, we cannot take responsibility or be held liable for your safety between or outside sessions. For higher-risk situations, we may recommend local, in-person care instead.
5. Booking and appointment communications
You can book through our booking portal, or email us at consciousshiftpsy@gmail.com. Want an earlier time? Email us to go on our cancellation list.
We handle appointment communication by email, not text, both for your privacy and because it travels reliably across borders. Please check the details and Adelaide time on every email, and reply to any of them if something's unclear. We'll ask you to reply 'Y' or 'YES' to confirm you'll attend.
By using our practice, you agree to receive the following from us by email. Because they're essential to your care, these can't be unsubscribed from:
an initial confirmation of your appointment;
any intake and consent forms we require;
ongoing correspondence about your bookings, including replies to your emails;
a reminder before your appointment; and
your invoice and receipt after each session.
You may receive two receipts, one from Stripe (your payment) and one from our own system. Keep the invoiced receipt from our system for your records or any claim.
6. Fees, currency and payment
Our international fees are agreed with you before we begin and are separate from our Australian pricing. Fees are charged in Australian dollars (AUD). Any currency conversion, foreign-transaction or card fees your bank or Stripe applies are yours to cover, and are separate from our fee.
Payment is due on the day your invoice is issued, unless we've agreed otherwise, and where your card is securely stored it's charged automatically. We can't go ahead with a future session while an earlier one is unpaid. We sometimes offer a small number of reduced-fee "helping hand" places; these depend on our caseload and are not ongoing indefinitely, so please ask if you'd like to know what's available.
7. Cancellations and non-attendance
Life happens, and we ask for as much notice as you can give. Notice is counted in business hours, Adelaide time.
48 hours or more: no charge, and we'll help you find another time.
24 to 48 hours: 40% of the session fee.
2 to 24 hours: 50% of the session fee.
Under 2 hours, or a no-show: the full session fee.
We keep our books deliberately unhurried rather than overbooking, so each session gets our full presence. That means your booked time is genuinely held for you, and a late cancellation usually can't be filled. In a true emergency, such as a hospitalisation or an accident, the fee can be waived where you can provide evidence dated to the time of your appointment.
8. Your telehealth sessions
All sessions are delivered by secure, encrypted video (audio-only on request). There's nothing to download; you click the secure link we send beforehand and it opens in your browser.
Please join from a private, quiet, safe space where you won't be interrupted, and feel free to bring a tea and get comfortable. A stable internet connection and a suitable space are your responsibility. Because a regular mobile call isn't reliable across borders, we ask that you download WhatsApp before your session. That way, if the video connection fails, we can reach you for an audio-only call through WhatsApp. If we can't re-establish the session, we'll do our best to continue by another agreed method. Technology issues outside our control don't automatically mean a refund or reschedule, though we always sort these out fairly. Telehealth isn't right for every situation, and we'll say so and suggest local care if that's in your interests.
9. How we work together
Therapy is collaborative and shaped around you, and taking part is completely voluntary. You can be as open as feels comfortable, raise anything about the work as it comes up, and pause, change direction or stop at any time.
A standard session is 50 minutes of video time. On top of that, your psychologist sets aside at least another 60 minutes of clinical and admin time for your care, which is part of your fee. Therapy isn't a quick fix, and outcomes can't be guaranteed. You stay in charge of your own decisions and wellbeing, and of staying connected with a GP or doctor in your own country, who looks after your broader medical care. Where it helps, we'll suggest a referral or local support so your care continues.
10. Reports, letters and legal requests
A brief letter to your GP or local doctor about your mental health is provided free of charge.
Longer letters and reports are charged at an additional rate, quoted and agreed with you first, and aren't covered by your session fee.
Legal requests: if something legal is arising, please talk to us before any deadline. We can't always provide legal or court documentation, particularly across borders; it's at your psychologist's discretion, charged at an additional rate, and may need extra sessions.
11. Assessment
Assessment can be part of therapy where it helps, though we're not an assessment-focused clinic and don't offer every type. Some assessments carry an additional fee (quoted first), all are done within sessions, and some take more than one. Where a specialist or comprehensive assessment we don't provide is needed, we'll suggest you seek it locally so therapy can continue alongside.
12. Confidentiality and privacy
What you share stays private, with a few exceptions our Australian law and ethics require us to act on: a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or someone else; a reasonable suspicion of harm to a child, elder or dependent person; records subpoenaed by a court or required by a regulator; or where you give written consent. We act under our Australian obligations, and we recognise the laws where you live may differ. Where it's safe to, we'll talk any disclosure through with you first.
To keep our work safe and ethical, de-identified aspects of cases may be discussed in professional supervision, with your identity protected. Your psychologist may also use a secure, privacy-compliant AI note-taking tool as part of standard care; these are purpose-built healthcare tools, not public AI like ChatGPT, and they don't train on, share or sell your information. Tell us any time if you'd prefer we didn't, and we'll document your care another way.
We handle your information under the Australian Privacy Principles, and some of our providers may store data outside your country. We keep clinical records as Australian law requires. Our Privacy Policy, which applies to all clients, has the full detail.
13. Conduct, contact and social media
Respectful communication is expected at all times, and abusive or inappropriate behaviour may end a session (with the full fee applying) and can mean an end to services.
We wholeheartedly welcome your engagement with our social media and love the community there, but we don't offer therapy on social media, and we won't usually follow clients back, out of respect for your privacy. Email is for admin like scheduling and billing; therapy happens in your sessions, and replies between them may not be immediate.
14. Pauses and discharge
If you haven't attended or been in touch to book for around 4 to 6 weeks, you'll be considered discharged. This isn't goodbye. You're welcome back any time, subject to availability; it simply means we can't hold or guarantee a spot in the meantime.
15. Talks and workshops
Where we deliver a guest talk, workshop or other group session for an international audience, please understand that our registration, qualifications and professional insurance are Australian-based. These sessions are general and educational, they aren't therapy or individual psychological advice, and they don't create a therapeutic relationship.
16. General
Keeping your details current. Please keep your contact and health information, including your local emergency details, up to date.
Events outside our control. Occasionally something beyond our reasonable control may mean we have to delay, move or cancel a session. We'll let you know as soon as we can, and reschedule or refund the affected session.
The rest. These Terms are the whole agreement between us about your care and replace any earlier discussions. If part of them turns out not to apply, the rest still stands. They're governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the service is provided from Australia. Nothing here affects any rights you have that can't be excluded by law.
17. Complaints and feedback
If something isn't right, please tell your psychologist or email consciousshiftpsy@gmail.com, and we'll take it seriously. You may also contact AHPRA or the APS in Australia.
18. Acceptance
Booking, engaging our services, or signing your acknowledgement in Zanda means you accept these Terms and consent to treatment. The current version always lives on this page.

Conscious Shift Psychology
These terms cover your use of our website and any digital products, downloads or Membership you buy through it, wherever you're visiting from. By using the site or making a purchase, you're agreeing to them. If you book telehealth therapy with us from overseas, our separate International Client Agreement applies to that care.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your information, and applies to all our clients wherever you are.
1. Using our website
You're welcome to browse and use our site for your own personal, lawful purposes. We do our best to keep everything running smoothly, but we may update, pause or change parts of the site from time to time, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
2. Our content isn't therapy
Everything on this site, our social media and our resources is general information, offered to educate, inform and share reflections grounded in psychological knowledge and experience. It isn't tailored to you and may not fit your situation. Reading our writing, following us, or using our resources doesn't create a therapeutic relationship or entitle you to clinical support outside of booked sessions. For that, please book in (see our International Client Agreement).
3. Our services are Australian-based
Conscious Shift is a private psychology practice based in South Australia. Our psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold Australian qualifications. These are widely recognised internationally, but registration in Australia is not the same as being licensed to practise in your country, and any services are provided from Australia under Australian professional standards. Fees and rebates shown for Australian clients do not apply internationally.
4. Our content and intellectual property
All written content, photography, audio, guides, graphics and digital products here belong to Conscious Shift unless credited otherwise. You're welcome to view them, and to download or print extracts for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't reproduce, share, distribute or sell our content, or store it elsewhere, without our written permission.
5. Digital products, downloads and Membership
Any workbooks, audio recordings, courses and Membership content are licensed for your personal use only. They're supportive resources, not a substitute for one-to-one psychological care, and shouldn't be relied on for diagnosis or treatment. Membership content is available while your subscription is active, and we may add to, update or remove content from time to time.
6. Purchases, currency and payment
Prices are shown and charged in Australian dollars (AUD). Payment is made through our payment provider (Stripe), which handles your card details securely; we don't store full card numbers. Any currency conversion or foreign-transaction fees your bank or card provider applies are yours to cover, and are separate from our price. Completing a purchase means you accept these terms and the licence above.
7. Refunds
Because digital products are delivered instantly and can't be returned, they're non-refundable once purchased or accessed. If a product is faulty or not as described, please email us at consciousshiftpsy@gmail.com and we'll put it right.
8. Communications, newsletter and Substack
You can choose to hear from us, and you're always free to opt out.
Our email newsletter. If you sign up, we'll send occasional updates by email. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in the email itself. If you ever have trouble with our general email, just contact us at consciousshiftpsy@gmail.com.
Substack. We also publish on Substack, which runs independently of us. We write the posts, but your subscription sits with Substack, so you unsubscribe directly through them. If a Substack post reaches you by email, please check the source of that email to see where to unsubscribe, as it may be Substack rather than us. For anything to do with Substack, please contact Substack directly. You can also read our updates in the Substack app without email, by turning on notifications in your Substack settings.
Appointment emails are separate. These subscription choices don't affect the essential appointment and account emails we send to therapy clients, which are covered in our International Client Agreement and can't be unsubscribed from.
9. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites we don't control. We share them to be helpful, but we're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so do have a look at their terms when you visit.
10. Privacy and cookies
We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and some of our providers may store data outside your country. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, including how we use cookies, and it applies to all our clients wherever you are.
11. Our responsibility to you
We provide the website and our content with reasonable care, but "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on general information here. This doesn't limit anything that can't be limited by law.
12. General
These terms are the whole agreement between us about your use of the site and any purchase. If part of them turns out not to apply, the rest still stands. If we don't enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, so it's worth a look before you make a purchase.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute.
15. Contact
