Enriching Mind and Spirit

Psychological therapy invites us to deepen our understanding of the mind, build inner strength, restore balance, and enhance our connection with others and the world around us. At Conscious Shift, we recognise that true wellbeing is not about perfection or performance, but about meeting yourself with awareness, compassion, and curiosity.

Our sessions are designed to meet you wherever you are—whether you’re navigating something specific, seeking clarity, or simply feeling the call to grow. Together, we work to gently bring unconscious patterns into awareness, shift entrenched behaviours, and explore new ways of being that feel more aligned, easeful, and grounded.

We offer evidence-based therapies integrated with a holistic, whole-person approach. You can expect a warm, collaborative space that honours your story and supports meaningful, lasting change.

Comprehensive Therapy Services at Conscious Shift

Our therapy services are designed to support your emotional, psychological, and relational wellbeing across a wide range of life experiences. Drawing on evidence-based approaches delivered with warmth, insight, and care, we help you navigate complexity, cultivate clarity, and move toward personal growth.

Below, you’ll find a selection of our focus areas. Each one represents a common theme clients bring to therapy—and a space where healing, understanding, and transformation can begin. Contact us to book now.

  • Life transitions—whether welcomed or unexpected—can stir a mix of emotions. Whether you're moving countries, changing careers, ending a relationship, or entering a new life phase, these moments often bring both possibility and uncertainty.

Therapy offers a grounded space to process change, manage stress, and adapt with greater clarity and resilience. Together, we explore your emotional responses, strengthen your ability to cope with the unknown, and help you integrate the transition into your sense of identity and purpose. We view change not just as a disruption, but as an opportunity for meaningful growth.

  • Women’s health is deeply interconnected—spanning physical, emotional, hormonal, and relational experiences. At Conscious Shift, we support clients through fertility journeys, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the ongoing shifts that occur throughout the lifespan. These seasons often bring joy, grief, identity changes, and physical challenges all at once.

Therapy provides a compassionate space to process what arises. Whether you're navigating reproductive decisions, adjusting to new roles, or managing the impact of chronic pain or hormonal fluctuations, we support your body-mind connection with care. Our approach is grounded in whole-person wellbeing, offering support that honours your unique health journey.

  • Trauma can leave a lasting imprint, but it can also mark the beginning of a powerful transformation. At Conscious Shift, we hold space for both the pain and the possibility that can follow difficult experiences. Post-traumatic growth is not about ignoring what’s happened, but about discovering new strength, insight, and direction in its aftermath.

Through a supportive and paced process, we explore the emotional, physical, and relational impacts of trauma. With therapies such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and evidence-based trauma approaches, we help you gently process the past, build inner safety, and open to the potential for healing and renewed self-trust.

  • At Conscious Shift, we offer an inclusive, affirming space for clients across the spectrum of sexualities, gender identities, and relationship structures. Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating coming out, or facing the impacts of discrimination, therapy is a space where you don’t have to explain or justify who you are.

We honour your lived experience and offer care that’s not only supportive but celebratory of authenticity. Together, we can explore the intersection of identity, relationships, mental health, and resilience—so you feel safe, seen, and empowered in your life and your choices.

  • Our sense of self shapes how we move through the world. When self-esteem is low or self-criticism is constant, it can impact relationships, confidence, decision-making, and emotional wellbeing. Therapy offers a space to gently examine the beliefs and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself.

Through guided reflection, compassion-based practices, and tools drawn from Internal Family Systems, CBT, and mindfulness, we help you build a more supportive relationship with yourself. Together, we explore self-worth, challenge perfectionism, and foster a deepening sense of acceptance—so you can live with more ease, presence, and self-trust.

  • Relationships are central to our wellbeing, yet they often bring some of our deepest challenges to the surface. Whether you're navigating conflict, struggling with communication, or feeling disconnected from loved ones, therapy can help you understand and shift relational patterns.

At Conscious Shift, we explore your relationships through a compassionate and collaborative lens—whether individually or with a partner. Drawing on frameworks like the Gottman Method, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems, we support you in developing healthier communication, setting boundaries, and deepening emotional connection across all areas of your life.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a structured, practical approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are linked. When unhelpful patterns take hold, they can shape how you see yourself, others, and the world—often without you realising it.

In therapy, we work together to identify and gently challenge these patterns. You’ll learn strategies to shift negative thinking, strengthen coping skills, and take meaningful steps toward the changes you want to see in your life. CBT can be especially effective for anxiety, low mood, perfectionism, and self-doubt.

  • Schema Therapy helps uncover and shift deeply rooted patterns that often begin in childhood and continue to shape our adult lives. These patterns—called schemas—can affect the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world, sometimes without our conscious awareness.

Through a blend of emotional processing, cognitive insight, and experiential work, Schema Therapy invites you to explore unmet needs, internal beliefs, and long-standing relational dynamics. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a place for healing and corrective emotional experiences, allowing new, healthier patterns to emerge.

  • The brain has an incredible capacity to change—this is the foundation of neuroplasticity. When we intentionally practise new behaviours, thought patterns, and emotional responses, we strengthen new neural pathways that support wellbeing and growth.

In therapy, we use this understanding to create practical, sustainable change. You’ll learn how to interrupt old habits, reinforce new ones, and support your brain in adapting to healthier ways of thinking and relating. With consistency and care, these shifts can become deeply integrated into your daily life.

  • Living with chronic pain can be exhausting—not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. At Conscious Shift, we recognise the deep connection between body and mind. Our approach supports you in managing pain through a combination of psychological strategies, emotional support, and somatic practices.

Therapy can help you reduce stress, navigate the emotional toll of persistent pain, and feel more in control of your daily experience. Together, we explore tools such as pacing, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation to support a more compassionate relationship with your body and its signals.

  • Trauma can shape how we feel, think, and relate to the world—sometimes long after the event has passed. Our trauma-informed approach offers a safe, steady space to explore and process these experiences at your own pace.

Using methods such as Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, and evidence-based trauma care, we support you in understanding the impact of trauma, developing regulation skills, and working gently with triggers. Over time, you can rebuild trust in yourself, strengthen resilience, and experience a greater sense of safety in both body and mind.

  • Addiction is often a response to pain, unmet needs, or disconnection—not a moral failing. At Conscious Shift, we offer compassionate, non-judgemental support for individuals navigating substance use, compulsive behaviours, or emotional dependence.

Together, we explore the emotional roots of addictive patterns, build practical strategies for managing cravings and triggers, and support your capacity for change. Therapy also focuses on strengthening your internal resources, rebuilding self-trust, and fostering supportive relationships to anchor your recovery journey.

  • Our bodies often hold what our minds have learned to suppress. Somatic and mindfulness-based therapies help you tune into physical sensations, release stored tension, and develop a deeper connection with yourself. These practices are especially supportive when words aren’t enough, or when stress and trauma live in the body as much as the mind.

We integrate approaches such as body awareness, breathwork, movement, and mindfulness-based self-compassion into our sessions. These gentle, embodied tools support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and a greater sense of presence—offering a path toward healing that includes the whole of who you are.

  • Work can be a source of purpose and connection—but when challenges arise, it can also affect our mental health, identity, and sense of safety. Whether you're navigating burnout, workplace conflict, psychological injury, or a return-to-work plan, therapy can help you find steadiness and clarity.

At Conscious Shift, we provide a calm, supportive space to process workplace stressors, rebuild confidence, and reorient toward values-based action. We also offer support under WorkCover for eligible clients, including treatment planning and liaising with return-to-work coordinators when needed. Our focus is always on your wellbeing—supporting you to feel empowered, capable, and connected as you navigate your next steps.
